I was given by Josh Akright (some time ago now) a Bible from circa 1905 – inside was a K. C. newspaper clipping from 1905 containing a marriage announcement, and in-between the 2 Testaments were a few pages of family records on which the marriage was detailed and their children’s names and dates of birth were listed.  This Bible had been lost for decades before being recovered by Josh.  One of the original couple’s 5 children had a son, Dr. C. Phillip Pattison – son of C. P. Sr.  I went to his place of business this afternoon to return his grandparents’ Bible to their family.
